It is hard to put into words the magic that is Mount Vernon Manor. If we could give 10 out of 5 stars we would. The photos are so gorgeous, it's hard to imagine that it could be better in person, but it really is. From the moment you step inside, your senses are overloaded with beauty. From the immaculate home with dreamy furnishings, to the sensational views, the vegetable garden with basil, salad, chillies that you can help yourself to, you are made to feel immediately at home and relaxed, and that you never want to leave.
But it is also the personal touches that make this place so special. Thank you Karen, Georgina and Rachel for making us feel so welcome. From the welcome champagne, home-made pesto and rusks, to making hair appointments, taking care of our laundry and even bringing their own jewellery to complete our wedding looks, we could not have been taken better care of.
Your home and attention to detail made for the most special holiday and we cannot wait to return.

Our stay at Mt Vernon Estate near Paarl was truly special, with Andrea as our outstanding host and Georgina and Abigail providing exceptional staff support. Service was exceptional; Andrea, Georgina, and Abigail were attentive, ensuring every need was met with a genuine smile. The South African braai stood out, providing an authentic taste of local cuisine.
The recent renovation is impressive, with the main house's spacious and beautiful design, and the cottage offers ideal privacy for couples.
An amazing pool, delightful veranda views, and heavenly sleep on comfy beds added to the enchanting experience.

This is the best AirBNB we have ever used, and we have rented all over the world. The owners and the staff took absolute pride and joy in insuring our comfort. Georgina and Rachel even baked homemade rusks and hot blueberry and bran muffins for our first morning. What a surprise and a treat! The owner left the ingredients of a cocktail and a recipe for us to enjoy for sundowners! Such a wonderful gesture. I can honestly say that Mount Vernon have set a new gold standard in placing their valuable home on AirBNB. Well done, my whole family loved the place! It really was a treat!

What an extremely amazing stay. By far the best luxury stay I’ve experienced. The pictures don’t do it justice at all. Extremely spacious, warm and welcoming spaces.
The salt pool was a welcomed surprise and extremely refreshing during warm days.
Our stay was sooo amazing we decided to change our flights and stay an additional 2 nights.
